I’m quite looking forward to checking New Vegas out, but these ridiculous preorder shenanigans are really starting to piss me off.
Best Buy: Lightweight Metal Armor, Mercenary’s Grenade Rifle, 3 Super Stimpacks, 3 Doctors Bags. Steam/Walmart: Lightweight Leather Armor, Sturdy Caravan Shotgun, 4 Repair Kits, Binoculars. Amazon: Tribal Raiding Armor, Broad Machete, 5 Bleak Venom Doses, 10 Throwing Spears.
GameStop: Armored Vault 13 Suit, Vault 13 canteen, Weathered 10mm Pistol, 5 Stimpacks. In-game items, unique armor and special weapons are all on the cards. Classy.Ī pick n’ mix of DLC will be available, and the actual content will depend on whether you order from GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy or Walmart/Steam. It would appear that Fallout: New Vegas is following in the footsteps of War for Cybertron, offering as it does not one, not two, not three, but four pre-order bonuses, all available exclusively through different retailers. Looks like Activision isn’t the only company that can enjoy absurd exclusive preorder bonuses.
